A Moment of Gratitude

A Moment of Gratitude

As I reflect on the week since announcing that I'm running for Mayor, I am filled with gratitude. Since my announcement I have received hundreds of messages from people like you, who are ready for experienced, fresh, and dynamic leadership of our City.

My goal for this campaign is to directly connect with as many of you as possible. Throughout the coming weeks, there will be several opportunities for you to be heard, including live sessions, community pop-ups, and events. In the meantime, if you want to chat, I'd love to hear from you. You can send me a message or book a meeting with me anytime, here.

I'm encouraged by the amount of engagement I've seen, and will look to support this through to the election. The last three municipal elections have seen an average 20% voter turnout, and I hope to see well over 50% in 2021. Part of what makes a great City is democratic participation, so if there's anything I can do to support your participation on an ongoing basis, I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you to each and every one of you who have taken the time to help and show your support. The campaign has only just begun, and will take a lot of work to get to election day, so we will need all the help we can get. If you're able to volunteer, donate, or take a lawn sign, please sign up here to let us know you are with us.

We are looking for people who want more for our City, but value the sense of community we strive for. We will run a campaign focused on what we are capable of achieving and creating together, rather than spending our energy on diving people.

I am looking forward to connecting with you, to the extent you're most comfortable with.

with deep gratitude,
