Spruce Grove needs future focused progressive leadership that balance smart growth with strong community values. A mayor who listens, builds consensus, and leads with both experience and compassion.
Spruce Grove has always been home for me, and it’s where my husband Angus and I have raised our family. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, engineer, business owner, council member, volunteer, but at the heart of it all, I’ve always been focused on helping our community grow and thrive.
My early career was in engineering, where I worked with both municipal and provincial governments. That experience gave me a strong foundation in how cities function, from planning and infrastructure to the day-to-day decisions that keep a community running smoothly. Later, Angus and I built our own businesses right here in Spruce Grove, which gave me a firsthand understanding of what it takes to support local jobs, serve customers, and strengthen our economy.
I’ve also been fortunate to serve on City Council from 2017 to 2021 and to spend many years volunteering with local organizations like Girl Guides and Spruce Grove Ringette. Those experiences have kept me closely connected to people across our city and have shown me just how much we can achieve when we work together.
I believe in rolling up my sleeves, working hard, and making practical, thoughtful decisions that put people first. That’s what drives me to run for Mayor, because I care deeply about this community, and I want to see Spruce Grove continue to grow into a city we’re all proud to call home.
